European UnionForeign Policy Commissioner JosepBorrellsaid that “Serbia’s close relations with Russia contradict the path of European integration,” stressing “the need to meet the demands for the normalization of Serbia’s relations with Kosovo.”
Earlier, the European Parliamentdescribed anti-Russian sanctions as a condition of Serbia’s membership in the European Union.
Serbian President Aleksandarthat his country will not allow any party to impose its dictates on Belgrade and force it to join the sanctions against Russia, and to define the country’s foreign policy frameworks, explaining that he “expects increased pressure on Serbia to implementsanctions imposed on Russia.”
