On April 21, 2023, an awards ceremony took place within Flotilla 17F at the Landivisiau naval aeronautics base.
The sailors of the 17F received the citation from the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle for the ARROMANCHES 3 mission, as well as the collective letter of congratulations for the POLARIS 2021 exercise, from Commander Raphaël Calais, commander of the flotilla.
During this ceremony, three national defense gold medals, a citation with national defense gold medal for the commitment of a pilot in Operation CHAMMAL during the CLEMENCEAU 22 mission, testimonials of satisfaction and letters of congratulations during this same mission were also given as well as three simple citations to pilots for their commitment to the enhanced vigilance activity (eVa) missions in Romania.
Finally, four newly promoted first masters were given their sabers by their sponsors, thus marking their entry into the ranks of senior petty officers and executives of the institution. A symbol of command and justice, this strong symbol of their commitment thus rewards their value and their commitment and enrolls them in their new role as senior petty officers.

The saber given to you is the symbol of the leadership responsibilities with which you will be invested more and more from today. Be proud and worthy”
