Representatives of Somon Air looked at where and how Czech aircraft L410 NG are produced

The delegation of Somon Air visited the LET Aircraft Industries plant in the Czech Republic. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the production process of the L410 NG aircraft, as well as to discuss the issues of training the technical and flight personnel of the airline.

In addition, meetings were held with representatives of export companies – the Czech Export Agency and the Export Guarantee & Insurance Corporation on the issues of financing the possible acquisition of aircraft.

Recall that earlier in Dushanbe, representatives of the Omnipol company, which owns the Aircraft Industries aircraft factory, held a presentation of the L410 NG aircraft for the airline, and the management of Somon Air announced their interest and the need to conduct an analysis for the acquisition of several units of this type of aircraft.

It was noted that the aircraft was certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency.

The L-410 NG is the latest modification of the L-410 family. The modernized aircraft has improved flight parameters and operational characteristics, offers advanced technologies and is equipped with innovative avionics.

The L-410 aircraft was developed in the late 1960s and can carry 19 passengers on local airlines. The ship is used for communication between remote regions of the country, as well as for the needs of medical aviation.

Somon Air currently successfully operates flights from Tajikistan to Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China, India, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Currently, the airline’s fleet has Boeing 737-800 and 737-900 aircraft.
